Even with all the modern advancements in health science, hearing loss continues to be a challenge for a majority of aging adults. It is understood that once the tiny ‘hair-like’ fibers in the inner ear, called Cilia, are damaged they cannot be restored. There are, however, some forms of hearing loss that, with proper care and stimulation may show signs of improvement.

First and foremost, the best thing you can do for your hearing loss is to seek ongoing care from a hearing care professional.  Proper treatment can make a world of a difference when it comes to staying connected to the sounds all around you.  Then work on honing your hearing.  Our friends at Audicus.com have put together a fantastic list of 5 listening activities that may help boost your hearing abilities, including:

  1. Solve puzzles
  2. Do yoga
  3. Exercise daily
  4. Meditate
  5. Focus on locating sounds

You can read more about these activities and how they can favorably impact your hearing at
