Boom! Did you hear that?  After hearing a very loud noise you may often experience a ringing in your ears. But just how loud does a noise have to be in order to really cause damage?  An infographic put together by a London-based air conditioning company does a great job of answering that question.   Refer to the Medical Daily article with infographic here:

We all know some things such as a jet engine or gunfire can be harmful to our ears, but it’s interesting to see decibel levels of certain sounds to put things into perspective.  As each of us are impacted by life’s everyday noises, it’s important to periodically do a little audit of the sounds we are exposed to on a regular basis and ask ourselves, “Could this be harmful to my hearing?  Do I need to protect my ears from this?”  Your ears and your loved ones will be glad you did.
